Introduction: Dr. Chugay is easily recognized as being in the top 5% of his field worldwide. He trains surgeons from around the world and has over 20 years of Facial Plastic, Aesthetic and Cosmetic Surgery experience. His practice has been located in California since 1977.
Dr. Chugay has performed almost 30,000 surgical procedures, published numerous articles in the medical press, many of them on new procedures and several new implants he has developed or created. He is also in the “Who’s Who” as a lifetime member.

He is Board-Certified in Facial Plastic Surgery (OCOO) and Cosmetic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Academy Cosmetic Surgery, of American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery, American Society of Liposuction Surgery, European Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and is a Fellow of American Society of Cosmetic Surgery.

Up to date Dr. Chugay has personally trained over 30 post-graduate physicians for the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. A fellowship with Dr. Chugay is highly desired, but difficult to obtain. Dr. Chugay has presented his innovative and brand-new surgical procedures at various medical congresses throughout the world. Dr. Chugay is an artist in his work; after all, one must have a talent of a sculptor to truly beautify human body and face. He uses pictures, computer images and detailed drawings to perform his procedures. Analysis of aesthetic symmetry, computer-aided analysis, mathematical calculations and a good eye allow Dr. Chugay to arrive at the best aesthetic balance for the individual patient.

Dr. Chugay has a plastic surgery center in Beverly Hills and Long Beach, as well as offices in Irvine and Santa Barbara. All of the facilities have state of the art technology. The staff is able to serve a multitude of nationalities, as they are able to serve those who speak English, Spanish, Russian, French, Portuguese and Italian.

Dr. Nikolas Chugay, of Russian descent, was born in China, grew up in Brazil and was educated in the United States. He lives in Newport Beach, CA, has a wife and three children.

From 1972 to 1974 Dr. Chugay served as the Third Brigade Surgeon for the 101st Airborne Division. His medical service involved General Medicine, General Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery.
